SETTING BACKGROUND
The Marvel Universe, aka Earth-616, is at it's core supposed to be our universe but with superheros, magic, deities, aliens, living planets, and sapient squirrels.

PERSONALITY
She's incredibly determined. This is one of the major factors of her unbeatability. She does not give up until she wins. Which isn't the same thing as stubborn. She can be stubborn at times, but not giving up doesn't mean not being willing to switch tactics. If punching isn't working, try talking. If talking isn't working, try punching. If she needs help, she will absolutely go get help. What's key is that she won't stop until she's solved whatever problem she's been presented with.

Speaking of talking, unlike many superheroes, Doreen doesn't consider violence a solution to every problem. She will definitely use it when necessary, but in many cases, she feels calm, reasonable discussion works just as well in stopping crimes as knocking someone out does. Many times, even better, as someone who is just knocked out might just go and commit more crimes once they regain consciousness, but someone she's talked to and helped see another path won't.

She's easily excited. She absolutely loves everything about being a superhero, computer science, science in general, her friends, family, and squirrels. And it shows. She's a genuinely upbeat and cheerful extrovert who's more than up for dropping a pun whenever the situation calls for it.

Doreen can be impulsive. She often charges into battle without thinking, and even though she likes to talk problems out it's not always her first impulse. She's charged into battle against several cosmic entities that she had no chance of physically beating, most notably Galactus, without any real plan besides "beat him up." Not only that but when a problem occurs she's not always likely to remember that doors exist and has broken down several windows and walls while going after crimes.

When she actually bothers, however, she's actually fairly good at planning ahead and coming up with a way to deal with an enemy. She keeps a series of trading cards on her that give a rough idea of what a villain is going to be like, keeps her head, and figures out where to go from there. She's also very good at planning on the fly, which, given her tendency to leap before looking is a necessary skill. She's also not above bouncing ideas off of people.

She can occasionally be a bit naive. She has a small issue grasping that just because she's given someone a second chance, doesn't mean everyone else will. Additionally, she occasionally needs to be reminded that talking doesn't always work and that some people just want to watch the world burn.

That said, she's completely aware of the failings of her superhero colleagues. When encountering a villain who was trying to prove herself smarter than any hero, Doreen conceded that the villain was, pointing out that the heroes had been through two Civil Wars. Not to mention her repeated calling out of some of Tony's worst impulses.

Lack of some sort of stimulation, like internet access or crimefighting, tends to drive Doreen nuts. She craves things to do or at least vicariously living through people doing things when she can't, and as such is a little at loose ends when she's not allowed to do either. Basically, the girl has no chill whatsoever.

POWER SELECTION

POWER TYPE
Canon Superpowers

FREEBIE POWERS
  • Semi-prehensile squirrel tail
  • Enhanced vision- Both her night-vision and peripheral vision are stronger than human baseline.

GAME POWERS

Squirrel Physiology- She has the proportional abilities of a squirrel, including:
  • Squirrel Communication- Can communicate with squirrels
  • Superstrength- Limited to 500 pounds.
  • Superhuman biting ability- Strong enough to chew through solid steel at a fairly fast pace. She won't be able to chew her way through a wall or floor here, but prison bars and handcuffs would probably still be on the table unless this is needs to be limited further
  • Speed- Limited down to 10/15 miles an hour.
  • Superhuman agility- Not quite on Spider-Man's level.
  • Superhuman reflexes- Not quite on Spider-Man's level, especially since she doesn't have Spider-Sense or an equivalent Squirrel-Sense
  • Regenerative healing factor - Nothing ridiculous. Injuries that would take weeks to heal for a normal person will heal in a matter of days or hours.
  • Semi-prehensile tail
  • Claws- Generally used for climbing
  • Retractable knuckle spikes
  • Enhanced Durability- Can withstand blunt force trauma from falling objects and people with superstrength to a degree but is anywhere near invulnerable
She does not retain her memetic unbeatability.

ABILITIES
  • Computer Science skills- She's a sophomore Computer Science major. As far as actual defined level of ability in that, she was one of multiple winners of a programming contest that was actually a secret audition for programmers to fix the Savage Land's systems.
  • General Science knowledge - While not an expert in anything but her major, generally knows enough about other fields to follow conversations about them and have relevant knowledge on hand in some situations.
  • Helicopter pilot
  • Good with both kids and teenagers
  • Expert on squirrels and related rodents
  • Knowledge of edible plants and how to gather them, particularly nuts and berries
  • Basic wilderness survival skills.
SETTING/SUITABILITY
Note: Most characters will not need a suitability section, such as if they're from fantasy or adventure canons or have skills that will allow them to easily thrive in the game world. For this reason, most characters will not need to fill out a suitability section.

For some characters that might need work harder to fit into the game, the mods will send an additional suitability section to be filled out, but this will be done in a revision.
